Arriving in the Zillertal

The Zillertal is one of the most famous alpine valleys in Austria — and for good reason.
In winter, it is a ski area of the highest level: The Zillertal Arena, with over 150 kilometers of slopes, is among the largest in Austria, and the ski bus stops directly in Zell am Ziller.
In summer, the same mountain world transforms into a hiking paradise with alpine pastures, mountain lakes, and panoramas that are hard to forget. Via ferratas for all skill levels, cycling paths, mountain bike trails — the Zillertal works in every season.

The Tirolerhof is located right at the village square of Zell am Ziller — in the heart of the valley and simultaneously in the heart of the town. A lively village square, genuine Tyrolean hospitality, cafés, and the everyday life of a place that is not just made for tourists. From here, everything is accessible without needing a car.

The house itself is dedicated to the three alpine elements of water, wood, and stone — each floor has its own character. The result is not a uniform hotel building, but a place that reveals a new face with each level. Modern and original at the same time.

The day starts in the morning with a rich breakfast buffet featuring regional products — hearty enough to set you up for the mountains. In the evening, the restaurant serves a 4-course choice menu, and the bar Hanna's is open until midnight: Zillertal spirits, good beer, and a cozy end to a long day in the mountains.

The sauna world in the house — Finnish sauna, steam sauna, infrared cabin — ensures that the muscles recover before continuing the next morning.
